Mechanical pulping

Research related to mechanical pulping has a long tradition at KCL. KCL's pilot-scale equipments cover the manufacture of refiner mechanical or chemi-mechanical pulps (TMP, CTMP) as well as groundwood pulps (GW, PGW and S-PGW).

The screening station enables screening and fractionation of mechanical pulp for further processing.
